From Statistical Outlier to Clarity Catalyst

Born to Yugoslav guest workers in 1970s Germany, statistics gave me a mere 3-5% chance of higher education. My toolmaker father and cook mother raised our family with working-class immigrant values that would prove more potent than any prediction.

After repeating three school years and carrying the "foreigner" label, those already slim odds nearly disappeared. But what statistics failed to capture was the unwavering belief my parents had in me – a foundation that would completely transform my trajectory.

Breaking Barriers

I defied expectations by graduating with honors in business administration before earning my master's degree. As the first student with an immigrant background selected for the Siemens CEO's strategy unit, I began a journey that would lead me through leadership roles at global organizations.

My career path has led me from Siemens to Pfizer and eventually to Brose, where I served as Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing teams across the headquarters and 33 international plants. However, the most profound transformation in my professional life came not from advancement but from confronting a health crisis 2009.

The Turning Point

This unexpected challenge became my greatest teacher. I immersed myself in exploring inner presence and the nature of the mind, studying with renowned teachers such as Sayadaw U Tejaniya and later Thomas Hübl.

What emerged was not just mindfulness practice but also the development of an internal compass – accessing wisdom beyond typical thinking patterns. This practical insight transcends reactivity and opens doors to clarity that conventional approaches rarely reach.

These discoveries fundamentally reshaped my understanding of organizational change: Lasting transformation requires more than strategic planning and process optimization – it demands a nuanced understanding of human dynamics and our neurobiological responses to change.

From Personal Practice to Professional Purpose

Balancing this internal work while raising three sons with my wife revealed the true challenge: integrating deep presence into everyday demands. This lived experience inspired InsightRock, a platform designed to foster practical self-awareness, stability, and decision-making capabilities that are applicable in the real world of business and family life.

In our era of information overload, clarity has become the ultimate currency. Change Rock emerged from my belief that meaningful transformation can only occur in the present moment.
